Deepen your roots. Expand your reach.
Embark on an eye-opening, revolutionary journey with our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training,
created for those who want to awaken their practice and discover the true essence of Yoga.
Over the course of 10 immersive weekends, you'll not only build a strong foundation in multiple yoga styles, but also explore the rich philosophical roots of the practice and the mechanics of integrated health & healing. This comprehensive program dives deep into the structures of body, mind, & spirit, leading you to become a more connected and well-rounded individual.
From asana to anatomy,
from mindfulness to meditation,
from energy to ethics,
from presence to peace,
this training blends practical skills with timeless yogic wisdom.
In a world where authenticity is often exchanged for what’s trending and profitable, we’re devoted to preserving the integrity of this practice. Rather than memorizing standardized sequences, you’ll learn to approach the body as a gateway inward- where movement becomes the key to unlocking your inner sanctuary- while guiding others to do the same.
Unlike virtual YTT’s, our in-person program offers hands-on assistance, personalized feedback, and genuine connection. The open dialogue within the group creates a learning environment that is dynamic, supportive, and deeply insightful. You'll feel the energy of the cohort, reflect on one another’s experience, and build a strong community that supports your growth long after graduation.
You’ll learn to instruct classes with confidence, truth, and wisdom, all while experiencing the transformative power of Yoga yourself. The program culminates in a weekend retreat- a serene, focused space to integrate everything you’ve learned, celebrate with your peers, and honor your individual journey.
This is a path toward deeper presence, radiant self-awareness, and lifelong evolution.

FAQ’s
I’m new to yoga. Can I still participate in this training?
Yes! We recommend having some prior experience (at least a few studio classes); but you do not need to have a specific level of physical ability or expertise.
What if I don’t want to be an instructor?
You don’t have to be! This program is designed for those who wish to simply expand their understanding of Yoga for personal use, as well as those who plan to lead group classes.
How many students will be participating?
We like to keep things small & intimate at LRY. This training is capped at 10 persons to allow for ample 1-on-1 attention and interaction.
Will there be homework assignments?
Yes. Weekly homework assignments will be limited to 2 hours or less of personal reflection, reading, and/or writing. In addition, you’ll be required to attend at least 1 weekly class at either studio location.
What materials will I need?
4 books (not included in tuition price):
’The Bhagavad Gita’ by Stephen Mitchell
’Light on the Yoga Sutras’ by Iyengar
’Yoga Anatomy’ by Leslie Kaminoff
’Yamas & Niyamas’ by Deborah Adele
Optional: ’Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, & Bandha’ by Swami Satyananda
Everything else will be provided.
What happens if I miss a day of training?
Attendance is mandatory for all sessions. If a personal emergency arises, you may reschedule a training session with the lead trainers at the private session rate of $80/hr (1 hr private session = 2 hrs group training); or you may attend the session during next year’s round of YTT.
Will I be able to teach after completing the training?
Yes! A position on the LRY team is not guaranteed; but you will have the skillset needed to instruct classes, lead workshops, and offer private sessions at our studio & most others (subject to each facility’s requirements).
What does the final exam consist of?
The final exam takes place on weekend 10 (at our group retreat!) and will consist of a written exam and class instruction demo.
